About Dublin 10
Why Dublin 10 exists, which Dublin jobs its lists deal with, where they reach and how a site with no adverts is funded.
Ask around Dublin for a roofer, a crèche or a GP with room on their books and the names come quickly: a neighbour in Phibsborough, a colleague, a post on the local group. What you rarely get is any way to tell who does this job every week and who takes it on when work is slow. Dublin 10 does that sorting. For each need there is a short list of Dublin firms whose daily trade is that work, so a handful of calls is all it takes.
What the lists cover
The jobs people here actually go looking for. Home and trades: plumbers, electricians, roofers, builders, attic conversions, BER assessors, boiler servicing, windows and gardens. Private health: GPs, dentists, physiotherapists, scans and blood tests, counsellors and vets. Family and school: crèches, Montessori schools, grinds, fee-paying schools, music and Irish dancing. Motoring, from garages and panel beaters to pre-NCT checks and driving lessons. Solicitors, accountants, mortgage brokers and estate agents. Weddings and events, from venues to photographers and celebrants. New lists go online in small batches.
Dublin and the suburbs around it
Our lists are for anyone living or working in the city and its suburbs, from Rathmines, Ranelagh, Phibsborough, Stoneybatter, Smithfield, Drumcondra and Clontarf to Dundrum, Finglas, Tallaght, Blanchardstown, Lucan, Clondalkin and Dún Laoghaire. Towns further out, such as Swords, Bray or Maynooth, are not included. Dubliners tend to think in postal districts, so every entry shows its full address and you can place it before you ring.
What we don’t do
We are not a tradesperson, a practice or a firm of solicitors. Nothing here counts as medical, legal, tax or building advice. We make no bookings, arrange no quotes and ask readers for no money. We have not inspected anyone’s work and cannot check every registration. Any deal you strike belongs to you and the firm alone.
Where the money comes from
The site carries no adverts. Readers pay nothing and no firm can pay its way in. A firm that has been chosen can then buy Pro, a richer page with photos, prices, offers and buttons to phone, WhatsApp or the website, or Top, a place in the first three of a list it already appears on. Both plans are labelled, and firms on neither keep the position we gave them. Spotted an error, or know a firm worth considering? Write to info@dublin10.com.
