Terms of use

The rules for using Dublin 10, free lists of Dublin firms: an editorial opinion rather than advice, with nothing booked and no charge to readers.

Scope

Using Dublin 10 (dublin10.com), a free collection of lists of Dublin firms, means accepting these terms.

An opinion, not advice

Every list expresses our editorial view of which local firms deserve a look, and in what order. It is no substitute for medical, legal, tax, technical or other professional advice, and it promises nothing about a firm’s work, prices, safety, registrations or availability.

We are not the firm

Dublin 10 treats nobody, carries out no jobs, quotes no prices, takes no bookings and charges readers nothing. Whatever you arrange with a firm is arranged with that firm directly, along with any contract, warranty or finance deal.

How the lists are made

Each list draws on public information about the firms, what customers say of them, what they publish themselves and the questions explained in ‘How we select’. Pro gives a firm a fuller page, and Top a position among the first three on a list that had already included it. Both are labelled, and neither amounts to a check or approval by us.

Check before you rely on it

We revisit the lists, yet phone numbers, addresses, hours and prices change. Confirm them with the firm, ask for quotes in writing with VAT shown, and look up any registration the job needs with the body that issues it.

Business pages

Whoever claims a listing declares that they may manage it and that everything they add is accurate, lawful and not misleading. We can edit or remove content that is not. The price and renewal terms of each plan appear in the business area before payment, which Stripe processes.

Fair use

Do not use the site unlawfully, harvest the lists with automated tools, probe areas that are not public, pass yourself off as someone else or send us false details.

Our content

The text, the selection and order of firms, the design and the name Dublin 10 belong to the site’s owner or are used under licence. A short quotation that links back is welcome. Anything longer needs our written agreement.

Liability and law

Liability that the law does not allow us to exclude stays in place. For the rest, we are not responsible for the work, products or advice of listed firms, or for the content of other websites. Irish law governs these terms. We may revise them, and the text shown on the day you visit is what applies.
